It has been a long time coming but this local band has finally gotten their act together and is going to release their first CD titled “She’s Right”! There will be special treats all through the evening and a cover at the door. More details to come.

Two Twenty Two is Warren Muzak and Amanda Brewer, both independent singer/songwriters from Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario (Warren arrived in KW via years in the Hamilton scene). They are good alone. They are great together. Please check both of their personal myspace pages.

Canadian-born Linda Grenier is a powerful singer who has become an accomplished songwriter, and has released three CD’s of original material to prove it.
Linda spends many hours traveling back and forth from county to city. Her music is often influenced by the hustle and bustle of everyday life as she reflects on it behind the wheel of her car. It’s these everyday inspirations that lead to her first CD release, “GO’IN PICK’IN” in November 2000. Linda’s 2nd CD, appropriately entitled, “ASPHALT RAMBLINGS”, was released on August 28th, 2003.
With her release of “LIFE SAMPLINGS” on August 8, 2008 comes new songs “50 Bucks” and “Hot Spell” which are sure to be a hit.
Her songs range from light-hearted road music (”Driving” and “50 Bucks”) through acerbic commentary (”Find the Kitchen”) all the way to the torchy, evocative “Moonlight” and “Let It Go”.

Come and enjoy this local band formerly known as The Rhodies and don’t forget your dancing shoes! Starts at 8:30pm, $3 cover.
Rod Nicholson - Scene Magazine: By turns confessional and narrative, the tunes here are presented in an unadorned performance and production style that throws their lyrical and melodic content into sharp relief. Name-checking this material influence-wise would include some fine artists such as Joe Ely, Townes Van Zandt and John Prine. Lucas Stagg measures up well against such vintage stuff while projecting his own clear style, no mean feat in itself. Whether it’s the James Burton chug of ‘Hell Bent’ or the straight-up country cautionary tale ‘Doin’ Time’, the order of the day is sharp playing, strong clear vocal harmonies and melodies that stick in the mind.
Show starts at 9pm - $3 cover
